What does "beta" access mean?

Beta access is exclusive access to the Tradar app test environment. The beta version needs feedback from Early Tradars like you to evaluate quality and usability and identify and correct flaws. You should know that the Tradar App may still contain bugs and inaccuracies and may not work as smoothly and flawlessly as commercially released software. But don't worry; we will value your trust and early engagement!

Which regulated partners does Tradar work with?

Tradar cooperates with various regulated partners in Germany to provide the best possible services while ensuring the security of our platform. One of our partners is CONCEDUS, an independent securities institution with regulatory permission from the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) to provide securities services by Section 15 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpIG). Concedus offers, in particular, the service of investment advice and investment brokerage. All our Player Tokens are mapped as fungible tokens in the form of crypto assets via the blockchain. To guarantee the highest security standards and custody conditions, we work together with the crypto custodian CONCEDUS DIGITAL ASSETS GmbH for the custody of your tokens. CONCEDUS is also supervised by the BaFin.

Registration
Can I open a joint account?

No, Tradar doesn’t offer joint account openings. Instead, each user trades through their account in their name. Thank you for your understanding.

I am under 18. Can I open a user account with my parents as power of attorney?

No, it isn’t possible to open a user account with Tradar if you are under 18. We also don’t accept powers of attorney from parents. Thank you for your understanding.

What does it cost to open a user account?

Opening a user account is free of charge.

What languages are supported?

You can use your profile in English or German. The language depends on the language you have set in your app's settings.

Who can open a user account?

You can open a user account if you meet the following criteria: You have a valid identification document (identity card, passport, or residence card) You are at least 18 years old You have a permanent residence address You have a cell phone number If necessary, a document to confirm your address. In addition, you will need the following to use the app: A smartphone with an iOS operating system (from version 13.0) or Android (from version 5.0, Marshmallow), a working mobile phone camera, and a stable internet connection.

Verification (KYC/AML)
What can I do if a problem occurs during video identification?

Please carry out the video identification again. If there is another problem, you can quickly identify yourself using the "IDnow Online-Ident" app. You only need to download the Play Store or Appstore app and have your Tradar transaction number ready. You will see this at the beginning of the video identification in the Tradar app.

What do I need for the video identification?

For video identification, you need the following: a smartphone with a camera; a stable internet connection; a valid identity document; good lighting conditions.

Who is a PEP (politically exposed person)?

A politically exposed person (PEP) has been entrusted with a prominent public function in financial regulation. Consequently, a PEP often poses a greater risk of potential involvement in bribery and corruption of its position and the influence it can exert.

Which information do I need to provide?

Your Tradar account will be linked to your mobile phone number. When opening and verifying the user account, we’ll need the following information: Surname and given name Mobile number Date of birth, place of birth Address Email address Nationality Tax residence

Why do I need to verify myself?

The German Anti-Money Laundering Act (GwG) requires our partners to verify your identity. Therefore, we provide the technical user interface through the Tradar App so that you can easily verify yourself with our partners.

User account management
I forgot my password. What can I do?

No worries! Just follow the following steps to regain access to your account: Open the Tradar app and navigate to the login page; Click on the "Forgot Password?" link; follow the instructions provided in the app to reset your password. Once you have reset your password, you can log in to your account using your new password.

How do I change my data?

Tap on Settings -> Profile in the Tradar app. Now you can change your data. Some data you cannot change yourself. If you still need to change some of these data (marriage and name change or relocation and address change), please get in touch with our service via service@tradarsports.com.

I can no longer log in. What can I do?

First, ensure that you have selected the correct login and installed the latest version of Tradar. Check that your email address is the same as you used to register with Tradar. Then check whether the password has been entered correctly. If this does not work, reset the password by clicking "Forgot your password?" and follow the further instructions. If you cannot log in, please get in touch with our customer support, and we will find a solution!

My app keeps crashing after logging in; what can I do?

First, make sure that you have the latest app version installed. If the app keeps crashing, please contact our customer support, and we will find a solution! We will also inform you automatically via email if general maintenance is being carried out and when you can log in again without any problems.

My account may be compromised; how can I block it?

If there's a possibility that a third party has gained knowledge of the security features of your account, you may contact our Customer Service by email using the following address service@tradarsports.com. Please, write "account block" in your email object so we can prioritize it. After successfully deactivating your user account, we will confirm it by email using the same address from which we received your request. So, please, use the same email address, service@tradarsports.com, to request your account reactivation, too.

Our Assets: Player Token
What are Player Tokens?

A Player Token on Tradar is an officially licensed digital asset of a soccer player and represents rights to the name and image for Tradar's licensing application. The Player Token is issued as a Fungible Token (FT) – therefore, Player Tokens are not NFT - Tradar is not another NFT project! Tradar owns the exclusive rights to issue and trade the Player Tokens. The Player Tokens are classified as crypto assets under German law and are therefore regulated as financial instruments. All Player Tokens are hosted on the blockchain to make all transactions transparent, traceable, and immutable.

How many Player Tokens are there per player?

Player Tokens are named after a specific player. They are issued in numerically limited batches of up to 1,000,000 (one million) tokens each. An initial quantity is released for sale as part of a Player Signing ("IPS"). Over the course of the player's career, additional tokens will be issued through the platform for consideration or Tradar Credits, provided that the maximum limit of 1,000,000 tokens is not exceeded. We may destroy ("burn") tokens not yet issued along player careers and thus remove them from circulation. The goal of this is to increase the scarcity of player tokens. Such events will be announced via the Tradar app.

What happens when one of my players ends his career?

Suppose you own the Player Tokens of a player who has ended their career. In that case, we offer you the option to exchange your Player Tokens for certain collectibles ("Career Assets") at the official end of the player's career. The Career Assets represent the player's career and are limited in number but can be used in gamification features. Career Assets can still be collected, sold, and bought on the secondary market. We may offer additional benefits for Career Assets in the future, and it's also possible that other users or communities may create additional benefits for players who have ended their careers.

What happens if one of my players moves to a club yet to be in the app?

If the player transfers to a club with which we have not made a license agreement for trading during his career, you will receive a voucher of equal value to the total value of the player tokens of the affected player. The voucher can be used to purchase another player's tokens on the primary market. If a license agreement with the club to which the player moves is negotiated, the player token remains tradable.

What happens if my player's club is promoted or relegated?

Don't worry; even in the event of relegation, the club's players remain part of Tradar. In addition, our license agreements are not league-dependent and thus allow for maximum flexibility across leagues.

Player Signing
How does player signing work?

All Player Signings will be announced on the app, our social media channels, and via email so that you can prepare for your purchase in time. Signing windows will be indicated in the app, during which the initial sale will occur. Typically, the signing window will be open for several hours each day. During this time, you have the opportunity to place a purchase order. The acquired Player Tokens will be transferred to your portfolio at the end of the signing window.

How is the price for a Player Token determined?

The initial price for a player token is derived from the current market price of the soccer player. The calculation is quite simple: if the market value of a player is put at 10 million euros, this results in a token price of 10 euros on the Tradar platform. Price formula: Market value in euros / 1,000,000 Player Tokens = Initial price in euros per token.

When will my orders be executed?

"Once you have created an order, we will forward it to our partner. We will notify you when your order has been executed. Please note that your Player Tokens purchased during a Player Signing will only be booked into your investments at the end of the signing period. Please be patient. It may take a short moment until the Player Tokens become visible in your investments. If necessary, log out again and log in again. You can always view all executed orders in your profile. In addition, you can find open orders yet to be completed in your "Transactions" in the app.

Are there any trading fees?

When purchasing Player Tokens, a one-time management fee of at least one euro or a maximum of two percent is charged. The management fee includes costs for the provision of the Player Tokens, as well as documentation & storage of all contractual details. All costs are disclosed in detail before the purchase of the Player Tokens.

What requirements do I have to fulfill to be able to buy Player Tokens on Tradar?

To buy Tradar Player Tokens, you must be fully verified. Once your verification is complete, you can conveniently buy Player Token in the app as usual.

Trading
Are there any costs after the purchase of a Player Token?

There are no additional costs after completing the purchase with us. All expenses are already included in the flat rates and fees when purchasing the Player Tokens.

Why can I only buy tokens but not sell them?

Our secondary market is still developing, but you can sell your Player Tokens anytime once it is up and running. We plan to enable trading in the second half of season 23/24. Then you can place an order during a trading window. The sale can be executed quickly if a potential buyer accepts your offer. Of course, you can also use the same method to buy interesting player tokens at short notice, thus perfectly optimizing your performance rewards for each match day.

Are profits from Tradar taxable?

Taxes on crypto assets are regulated differently in each country. Generally, your investments in player tokens may result in income or capital losses. Regarding your investments with Tradar, we advise you to check which tax obligations exist in your country with a tax advisor. Crypto assets are taxed in Germany as private sales transactions (§ 23 EStG), so there is a speculation period of one year. This means that gains are taxed at your tax rate if the period between purchase and sale does not exceed one year. However, revenues from all private sales transactions are tax-free up to an exemption limit of €600. In addition, crypto assets are not subject to the final withholding tax compared to shares. Therefore, Tradar does not automatically pay taxes. Instead, you must include the gains in your tax return (please contact your tax advisor for details). You must monitor your tax liability independently and seek tax advice if necessary, as we do not automatically deduct tax for you.

Where are my Player Tokens stored?

You can find your Player Tokens on the asset in your investments in the Tradar app. All our player tokens are mapped as fungible tokens in the form of crypto assets via the blockchain. To guarantee the highest security standards and custody conditions, we work with our crypto custodian Concedus Digital Assets GmbH, for the custody of your tokens. Concedus Digital Assets is also supervised by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) as a crypto custodian under Section 1 (1a) Sentence 2 No. 6 of the German Banking Act.

Payment & Fees
Which payment options are offered?

You can pay by credit card. Furthermore, we plan to offer you other payment options in the future (Sofortüberweisung, Giropay, Klarna). Please note: We currently only support VISA or Mastercard cards when paying by credit card. EC cards are not yet accepted.

What fees does Tradar charge?

Are there any custody fees?

You don't pay fees for the administration and safekeeping of Player Token at Tradar.

Tradar Credits
Can I have my TRCs paid out in euros?

At the moment, you cannot cash out your TRCs in euros. However, the Tradar Store will help you convert your TRCs into attractive prizes. Explore the Tradar Shop to find out more about the current offerings.

When will the rewards be credited to my account?

TRCs are distributed each matchday when the final scores are announced, usually between 24 and 48 hours after the end of a match day. You will receive an email notification as soon as we have credited the TRCs to your account.

What can I do with the TRCs I receive?

You can currently convert your TRCs into attractive prizes at the Tradar Store. Explore the Tradar Store to find out more about the current offerings. You can optimize your portfolio by redeeming your TRCs for more Player Tokens by purchasing Player Bundles. Immediately after purchase, you receive the tokens via airdrop in your investments. In addition, you can convert your TRCs into exclusive and partly unique Money-Can't-Buy Fan Experiences.

How are TRCs calculated?

We have developed an innovative TRC system to evaluate each position in the most balanced way possible. For this purpose, we consider approximately sixty different performance parameters of various categories per player. The player's performance during the match is thus the basis for calculating the TRC. The calculation is made possible using a wide range of statistics from each soccer match from StatsPerform.

What are Tradar Credits (TRCs)?

Tradar Credits (TRCs) are the primary source of rewards for users. On our platform, we map soccer players' actual performances and actions. Each player available with us throws off positive points for successful game actions. However, failed actions can also result in negative points. The sum of negative and positive points is credited to a points account as a TRC. TRCs can be used to purchase items in the Tradar Store.

Tradar Store
What is the Tradar Store?

The Tradar Store is our in-platform store. There, you can find creditable goods and services, such as fan merchandise, tickets for soccer matches, events, additional player tokens, and other experiential events, as well as exclusive 'Money-Can't-Buy' experiences. If you have the required amount of TRC for a specific reward, you can exchange them for the mentioned rewards. You can check the current available rewards and the required amount of TRC for them in the Tradar app.

What are Mystery Packs?

In our Tradar Store, you will find a category of items known as "mystery items." The mystery aspect of these items only applies to your first purchase. When you buy a mystery item for the first time, you won't know exactly what's inside. However, please note that the content of the item is not randomly generated. After your initial purchase of a mystery item, you'll be able to see the item's content in your portfolio, making it transparent for future purchases. However, we do have plans to introduce midterm a randomization of the content selection from a defined pool with different probabilities.
